D	Dart Giorgio on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rifugio molto piccolino, ma molto utile, sopratutto per la posizione in cui vi é situato. Egli si trova alla base del M.Spagnolo a pochi metri dalla fantastica colota del 1981 dove si trovano i crateri a botoniera. Il rifugio é circondato da un bosco di faggio che rende il territorio più calmo e l'aria più fresca. Il rifugio é fornito di tutti i viveri in casi di emergenza, ci sono diverse bottiglie d'acqua, kit di pronto soccorso e legname a volontà per i malcapitati che gli ci finiscono per via di una brutta avventura. Very small but very useful refuge, especially for the position in which it is situated. He is at the base of the M.Spagnolo just a few meters from the fantastic colota of 1981 where the big craters are found. The refuge is surrounded by a beech forest which makes the area calmer and the air fresher. The shelter is equipped with all the food supplies in case of emergency, there are several bottles of water, first aid kits and any kind of lumber for the unfortunates who end up there because of a bad adventure.
R	R on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissimo bosco per camminare in mezzo alla natura. Il rifugio pulito in buone condizioni ottimo. Beautiful wood for walking in the middle of nature. Clean shelter in very good condition.
C	Carmelo Genovese on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Area attrezzata facilmente raggiungibile percorrendo un facile e ampio sentiero che si diparte da Case Pirao, a loro volta raggiungibili dalla rotabile "quota mille" sopra il paese di Passopisciaro. Bello e luminoso il bosco di larici. Sul posto insistono tre rifugi ben tenuti di cui solo uno aperto. Ottima base di partenza per visitare la famosa Grotta del Gelo, al cui interno si trova il più piccolo e meridionale ghiacciaio perenne d'Europa. Equipped area easily accessible along an easy and wide path that branches off from Case Pirao, which in turn can be reached from the "altitude one thousand" roadway above the village of Passopisciaro. The larch forest is beautiful and bright. On the site there are three well-kept shelters of which only one is open. Excellent starting point for visiting the famous Grotta del Gelo, in which there is the smallest and southernest perennial glacier in Europe.
E	Ennio Giliberto on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ci sono diversi rifugi molti dei quali appartengono alla guardia forestale e quindi chiusi. L'unico che è aperto messo a disposizione al pubblico con camino dentro. C'è anche un pozzo, ovviamente non potabile. Per il resto no bagni, no luce e tanto spirito davventu. There are several shelters many of which belong to the forest ranger and therefore closed. The only one that is open to the public with a fireplace inside. There is also a well, obviously not potable. For the rest no baths, no light and lots of spirit davventu.
G	Giuseppe De Carlo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Una splendida esperienza, dopo aver lasciato la strada asfaltata, si trova subito una sbarra che chiude il passo, da qui comincia il sentiero per Monte Spagnolo, che si inerpica tra boschi e colate laviche, si dirama per 5km, lungo il percorso si trova anche il rifugio Pirao a 1139slm, bellissimo il bosco lungo il percorso, arrivati in cima c'è il rifugio Monte Spagnolo incantevole, immerso in una radura tra i boschi,si trova a 1440slm, lungo il percorso, si incontrano colate laviche A splendid experience, after leaving the asphalted road, you will immediately find a barrier that closes the pass, from here the path to Monte Spagnolo begins, which climbs through woods and lava flows, branches off for 5km, along the path there is also the Pirao refuge at 1139slm, the forest along the route is beautiful, once you reach the top there is the enchanting Monte Spagnolo refuge, nestled in a clearing in the woods, is located at 1440slm, along the way, you will encounter lava flows

E	Eva Kopalova on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thumbs up for enough wood. It was 12 of us, which I think is the maximum that the cabin can accommodate. Otherwise a very nice place with a fireplace inside and outside.
