Restaurant Wine Bar - CAVE TIBURZI

Very nice food, traditional Tuscan recipies, good quality ingredienti, reasonable priced and a natural fresh cavern room to rest from the heat of summer.

Authentic family owned restaurant with very good food. Kitchen is right next to the dining room so you can see and hear everything being prepared. Lots of fun!

Got a few pasta dishes which was quite tasteful. The housewine was good given the price, but not more than expected in Tuscany. Atmosphere was very nice. Service not Soo much.

This restaurant is wonderful...it is run by a mother and her two daughters, and they are all extremely hospitable and genuine. This is the kind of small restaurant that you dream about in Italy, with a beautiful back grotto and little tables in the street. The food is delicious, typical for the area and all handmade. They also have a very nice selection of wine. The prices are reasonable as well. We had a pasta dish, and the polenta, as well as a fresh salad and grilled pork...we would very highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is in the region. Even the drive into Chiusdino is beautiful, and the town itself is lovely to walk around, the sun also sets over the hills in the distance. A very special place!

Mega super place to have a lunch or dinner while on a walk through the town. Everything is perfectly cooked, big plates, very tasty. You can say that everything is fresh and local. Don't stay away from vino do casa :). Also very affordable. They don't serve pizza, though. Amazing place, highly recommend.

Very nice place recommend by the owner of the place we stayed. Good wine and steak. Also lived the orange salad and the reasonable but very good deserts.

Very cute tavern, in the beautiful little medieval town of Chiusdino. Quality food with genuine local recipes. Service was attentive and nice. Pasta was delicious and so we're the battered fried potatoes. I got the "scaloppine" and the taste was really good, although the meat was a bit chewy.. i would go for tagliata next time. We got the house red wine, which was really good. Overall this is one of my best experiences in the area, which i visit quite often! Recommended.

Hands down the best pasta I’ve had during my trip of Italy - and I’ve eaten some amazingly delicious pasta! We came across this very cute restaurant while trying to buy fish. The very sweet couple who own the place helped with some advice then invited us to see the restaurant. From the outside it looks like a cute local restaurant. However, once inside you are greeted with a gorgeous dining area encased by a unique cave and well from historical times! A good menu and what felt like it would be an authentic approach to cooking was exciting. We continued on our quest for fish but decided to come back later in the evening. Later that evening we turned up around 930pm - and were warmly welcomed in. We sat in the cave dining room and order cacio e Pepe and the pasta with bottarga (fish eggs). Both were unbelievably delicious - the best we had all trip (and we’ve eaten at some amazing restaurants in Rome - amalfi - Tuscany - some with Michelin stars). Beyond the food, the family that runs the place were just so warm, welcoming and ran the place because they want people to be happy eating their home style cooking! We definitely felt the love and passion that went into our pasta. Chuisdino is a small quaint town that is part of the Siena region - probably lesser known then some of the other towns. It’s a not far (about 10-15 mins drive) from San Galgano if you are in the region exploring the church. HOWEVER, this restaurant is out of this world and worth a detour just to eat the food and check out the cave and meet the lovely family that run this restaurant. Go here if you want authentic, delicious food that you will dream of days, weeks, months!
