Passeggiando per i suoi vicoletti in pietra si ha la sensazione che il tempo sia rimasto sospeso....insomma si assapora un po di passato. A small village built on years of history. E	Enrico The Dronefather on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abbiamo fatto tanta strada per venire qui a visitare questo magnifico paese ed i suoi musei e monumenti carichi di storia e tutto è stato rovinato dall’infelice uscita di una dipendente comunale. All’ora di pranzo passiamo davanti al comune e troviamo i dipendenti che escono per andare a mangiare...chiediamo quali sono i ristoranti in zona dove si mangia bene e questo genio ci dice “Da me non lo saprete mai, io sono una dipendente comunale non posso esprimere pareri” ? Ricordo al Comune che uno dei loro doveri è dare informazioni ai turisti se volete che questi parlino bene di voi e spingano altri turisti a visitare il paese. We have come a long way to come here to visit this magnificent country and its museums and monuments full of history and everything has been ruined by the unfortunate output of a municipal employee. At lunch time we pass in front of the town hall and find the employees who go out to eat ... we ask what are the restaurants in the area where we eat well and this genius tells us "You'll never know from me, I'm an employee the city can not express "opinions ? I remind the Municipality that one of their duties is to give information to tourists if you want them to speak well of you and push other tourists to visit the country.
J	Jacopo Fornari on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Davvero un bell'esempio di paese medioevale preservato quasi intatto nei secoli. Da vedere le chiese, la casa del santo ed il museo sacro. Niente di che ma tutto a costo risibile assieme all'abbazia ed all'eremo poco distanti. Alla fin fine una sosta piacevole e rispettose dello spirito del luogo. Truly a fine example of a medieval town preserved almost intact over the centuries. To see the churches, the house of the saint and the sacred museum. None of that but all at laughable cost together with the abbey and the hermitage not far away. In the end, a pleasant stop and respectful of the spirit of the place.

Da visitare il museo civico con i reperti della vicina Abazia di San Galgano (che ovviamente dovrà essere la prima tappa del viaggio) Consiglio una bella passeggiata all'interno di questo piccolo gioiello, per ammirare piccoli vicoli caratteristici e antichi, come quello da me fotografato. Dal paese si potrà visionare un bel panorama sulle colline metallifere, e in lontananza saranno visibili i fumi della zona geotermica di Larderello.. .. Chiusdino is a beautiful town perched on top of a hill, the area is that of the metalliferous hills of Tuscany. To visit the civic museum with the finds of the nearby Abbey of San Galgano (which obviously must be the first stop of the trip) I recommend a nice walk inside this little jewel, to admire small characteristic and ancient alleys, like the one I photographed . From the village you can see a beautiful panorama of the metalliferous hills, and in the distance the fumes of the geothermal area of Larderello will be visible. ..

We came all the way from Australia (where we live) to enjoy the food of this area and we are local at the same time, norm and raise in Arezzo; we asked to tell us what are the good restaurants around and a lady said we will never know that from her because she works for the Council and cannot speak or express preferences. They have not been trained to understand the value of a tourist!!!
