I came for the first time to Venice with my 2ys old daughter and my mom. So this hotel was the only reason why we had bad time in venice. I think putting review is the best way to warn other people what kind of trouble they could get into. The staff moved us to a fleas 500m away in an apartment due to some issues in washroom in the room we booked of hotel. Then we realized that the lights, toilet flush etc were not working so we informed the staff and left the room for sightseeing. When we arrived at night that the problem was still the same. I had to walk with my sleepy child in arm back to their hotel as nobody was picking up the phone. Then they told us that someone will fix the problem. Please note that they already knew and they didn't fix before. I had to manage with flickering lights, broken flush, dirty dishes. I had paid almost 160 euros for this place. The staff doesn't feel responsible. Nobody reply the phones. Overall you don't feel comfortable with such kind of environment. Please don't spoil your holidays like they did mine. Please refer to the attached flush broken and not working I mean no water at all.

although the location us good the quality of accommodation is poor. the shower does tell off, the towel handles fell off, the heating did not work. It was v cold, they did provide a stand alone heater with was just adequate. the 3td bed mattress was very lumpy and sloping so v uncomfortable. the cleanliness was ok but don't look too closely as the carpets are dusty as are beams, walls and other ledges. for the price we paid it was not value for money even though I appreciate Venice is expensive. use this as a last resort.

Up a massive flight of stairs to your room. Reception is not staffed out of hours so actually getting into the hotel is a pain. Breakfast isn’t spectacular. Good location though and the staff always try their best for you.

Zero rating for Residenza Laguna. They should not rent any rooms out. Never mind in Venice. We visited Italy for three weeks and this property should be closed. They give false information to booking sites. The question: Will you pay 160 euro a night for this? The kitchen, toaster on chair, aircon that manager set but didnt work and you may not touch it and after 9 and no food yet. I have to open for the lady that cleaned and make breakfast. You cant phone them because all is in Italian and nobody where there for checkin. Outside minus 4 and the warmest place in room were the bathroom. I didnt shower due to coldness of water. The previous night I payed 105 euro at ABNB for a newly renovated place, close to San Marco with Espresso machine and coffee. See Tripadvisor for all the complaints.

The location is wonderful and the rooms are authentic, but thy weren't ready on time. Even though, the receptionist was nice enough to let us use it, so we can take a shower. Would recommend, but be sure to come later than you've said.

Basic accommodation in the city for a reasonable price, that won't disappoint yet won't blow your mind. The rooms are quiet and well decorated, the bed was rather comfortable and the breakfast was richer than expected for a 4 room hotel. On the down side, the rooms lacked any proper heating (this is actually reported by most other reviewers here!), there was no safe box (so I had to carry all valuables with me), and the reception desk was too often unmanned (we couldn't even check out on time). Also, the receptionist spoke very little English and had very little familiarity with the area, not what you'd expect for a hotel reception in Venice. If you don't care for these and just need very basic accommodation in Venice in the warmer seasons, then Residenza Laguna can be a good option for you.

I've seen better service in my live. Breakfast is decent. Hot water depends on you luck. Hotel management is unable to handle disruptive hotel guests (screaming for several hours past midnight) and does not even try to apologise to remaining guests. Early check out leaves you with the left overs from prior days breakfast, that is if you demand to have something prepared. Also you may prepare to bring your own bag to wrap it in as they tell you they won't give that to you. Never had such a problem getting a carry out breakfast

Visited in 2019, stayed for about 3 nights or so and it wasn't too bad. Obviously you get what you pay for and the other people I was with where happy so its an alright experience. Cheers,
