★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed at the Residenza Della Signoria while in Florence in June, 2016 and had a room with a view of the Duomo. It was in a prime location, had pleasant and very accommodating management and staff, and also a central kitchen in case you had "take-away", fruit, drinks, etc. to store in the frig. Room was clean and quiet, and encourage guests to take advantage of the 3.5 EUR breakfast at bakery on the street next to the Residenza and also Perche No! - the best gelato in town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This property is centrally located, just in the shadow of the Duomo. It is more of an apartment and not a hand holding hotel, perfect for the self directed traveler. We had a large spacious room with a king bed that required a road map. The room and bathroom private bathroom were clean, and the staff were pleasant and accommodating. We are very pleased and will return. Ciao
