★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am scared of snakes, but now I can say that I WAS scared about them. They seems so calm and in a way also beautiful. Well kept in big cages with a lot of hiding spots. The place is in the center of Riva surrounded by the lake and Rocca castle

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent selection of snakes with a few arachnids. English language descriptions for everything. €9 for an adult is a little expensive but children under 8 go free.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place had many different types of snakes from around the world with detailed description in English too. I was able to appreciate the beautiful patterns on these snakes close while I'm usually quite scared of them. Would recommend if you are around the area and want to do something different.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place for a visit as long as you don't mind snakes or spiders a good variety to be seen.
We spent about 1hr there.
Go in the front entrance and walk up the staircase It's all on the one level inside the building no other floors.
Admission is €9 for an adult.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice little place to visit. Quite a good selection of species on such a small space. However, the cost of 9 euro is bit expensive for what you get and considering most of snakes are asleep and you can't see them much.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fun concept, and saw some interesting snakes. Unfortunately the place felt decayed and the smell of feces was prominent. Also the reptiles had small enclosures which could have been furnished better for them. Entry price is way to high for what you get.
They could have make it a lot more with little changes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place looks not only like it hasn't been renovated once since 1989, the animals are also in sad looking, dirty small enclosures without enrichment or sometimes even any plants. Staff was particularly rude and unprofessional. When I wanted to show my green pass (obligatory Corona vaccine app in Italy) she angrily told me I should wait as she was trying to do a very difficult job and didn't get back to me. Also 7 euro (this includes guest card discount) is way overpriced for what this is. Overall a disappointment and I hope animal protection will come and inspect soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a unique place in Riva del Garda. We stumbled upon it and it was an informative place. The lady there was kind enough to explain to us everything and give us a good tour.
Definitely recommended on a bad weather day or if you feel like watching some creepy snakes.
P.s. they have a huge python.. super large.
