Beautiful church. We passed by on the first evening, it was open and there was the real size crib, very cute.

La posa e la benedizione della prima pietra risale al 18 maggio 1618. La chiesa fu edificata per volere di don Andrea Perugini e di nobili famiglie di Nago, tra cui i Tonelli; è stata costruita all'interno dell'ospizio gestito dalla confraternita della Santissima Trinità.
DescrizioneLa chiesa della Santissima Trinità, eretta nel 1618, è orientata a est e sorge in una piazza, serrata tra le abitazioni. La facciata barocca, conclusa da un frontone curvilineo, presenta un portale architravato con un frontone triangolare spezzato, sovrastato da una finestra termale. La navata, suddivisa in tre campate, e il presbiterio, rialzato su tre gradini, sono coperti da volte a botte.

The laying and blessing of the first stone dates back to May 18, 1618. The church was built at the behest of Don Andrea Perugini and noble families of Nago, including the Tonellis; it was built inside the hospice run by the brotherhood of the Holy Trinity.
Description The church of the Holy Trinity, built in 1618, faces east and stands in a square, closed between the houses. The Baroque façade, concluded with a curvilinear pediment, has an architraved portal with a triangular broken pediment, surmounted by a thermal window. The nave, divided into three bays, and the presbytery, raised on three steps, are covered by barrel vaults.
