La costruzione della moderna chiesa risale al 1939. E' stata eretta per favorire la partecipazione alle Sante Messe da parte degli abitanti che risiedevano lontano dalla Basilica di San Andrea.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bella la posizione fronte lago e la piazzetta circostante. L'interno della Chiesa è molto semplice, privo di affreschi, con crepe e piccole infiltrazioni che richiederebbero un intervento tecnico e ritinteggiatura delle pareti.
Chiesa particolarmente richiesta per matrimoni che tuttavia vengono concessi ai nativi/residenti o comunque con determinati vincoli.
Beautiful lakefront location and the surrounding square. The interior of the Church is very simple, devoid of frescoes, with cracks and small infiltrations that would require technical intervention and repainting of the walls.
Church particularly in demand for weddings that however are granted to the natives / residents or however with determined bonds.

La chiesetta fu eretta all'interno del parco dell'ex Grand Hotel Torbole, divenuto preventorio antitubercolare: il progetto risale al 1937.
DescrizioneLa chiesa di Santa Maria al Lago, orientata a nord, si affaccia sul lago di Garda in una piazza di recente riqualificazione urbana. La sua costruzione risale al 1938-1939. La facciata a due spioventi è interrotta centralmente dal campanile. L'interno a croce latina è caratterizzato da due cappelle laterali e da un presbiterio rettangolare, rialzato su un gradino.

Description The church of Santa Maria al Lago, facing north, overlooks Lake Garda in a square that has recently been redeveloped. Its construction dates back to 1938-1939. The gabled façade is centrally interrupted by the bell tower. The Latin cross interior is characterized by two side chapels and a rectangular presbytery, raised on a step.

Wird sind ganz früh in Torbole angekommen, Frühstück in der Winds Bar und sind dann Richtung Strand runter geschlendert. Dabei sind wir auf die Chiesa di Santa Maria gestoßen. Nette kleine Kirche, mir hat das Farbenspiel rosa, orange und hellblau gut gefallen.
It's been some time.
We arrived in Torbole very early, had breakfast in the Winds Bar and then strolled down towards the beach. We came across the Chiesa di Santa Maria. Nice little church, I really liked the play of colors pink, orange and light blue.
