β β β β β My wife and I visited because she saw this gem on someone's travel blog. We had spent the day hiking and ended our travel day here. We still had about an hour and a half drive to get to where we were staying after this stop. And, it was well worth the trip. We dined there late on the balcony and enjoyed the sense of exclusivity as there were very few people there. The food was fantastic. The service was great. And, it was one of the highlights of our 2 week stay in Italy!

β β β β β Generous portions but overuse of oil so that dishes were excessively rich. Owner is fun and welcoming but might have an inflated view of her restaurant. Sweet balcony eating area.

β β β β β When visiting Ragusa, you definitely have to eat here! The restaurant is hidden and doesn't look fancy but the food is one of the best we ever had. They have a small menu with authentic dishes that are made of local ingredients. Even the olive oil is from around the corner. It's exquisite! And the prices are more than reasonable.

β β β β β Short-ish menu but it does have some classic Sicilian dishes at decent prices. On top come the dayβs specials. We let ourselves get tempted by the spring onions. My partner did not expect them covered with bacon and filled with melted cheese. He could not eat his dish, but the owner kindly offered to replace it with something else but my partner took down the offer and the owner was kind enough to take it off the bill. I had a donkey steak, which unfortunately was overcooked and hard as a sole. My mixed green salad was merely sone iceberg lettuce with grated carrots and soft cherry tomatoes. My partner went for Pasta a la Norma, which turned up overcooked instead of βal denteβ with too much salt. A shame as we found the restaurant in a travel guide and their balcony terrace is quite nice.

β β β β β Not very expensive family restaurant with very kind service. Nice ideas for local dishes but seasoning not really correct (too salty/too fat/too sweet).

β β β β β Excellent food, very friendly and attentive service. Slightly away from the main street but a great find with its narrow terrace looking over the valley

β β β β β My companion could not get out to dinner and as we were right next door to the Quattro Gatti, I asked of they would mind if I could carry our plates to our little BnB and bring them back after we had eaten.
Not only was that no problem, before I could step out and pick up the food, there was a knock at the door - the chef and a waiter had brought the food over with a bottle of wine and smiles
We had a really delicious meal (excellent pasta with pork cheek & "stinco" with an orange & fennel salad) washed down with a local red sitting at the kitchen table.
Service (and food) like that is not so common - it made such a difference to us!
And there were four cats outside the restaurant!!
Service like that is hard to come by in most places

β β β β β Nice terrace and tasty food. Great experience overall. Special thanks to the waiter, a guy from Bangladesh, who was really nice with us and he made sure every detail was perfect
