Be SO attention! Staff this place are cheaters - affairs wits bills, but after complaint said that is just "little mistake" proof related

Passed by this restaurant in the morning and stopped in for a ciambella (like a donut but better) and a coffee. The ciambella was absolutely delicious and well-presented, with a dusting of powdered sugar and some light berry syrup. (It would have been delicious even if they had just thrown it on a plate, but it felt like quite a luxurious experience, and it was definitely Instagram-worthy, if you’re looking for that.) It was so good that I returned for dinner which was, again, delicious. The carbonara had a large quantity of high-quality pork, which is one of the essential elements of a good carbonara but which can be hard to find! On both visits, the staff was very nice and service was very good. I thought the quality of the food and service perfectly aligned with the price. It’s strange that some people complain about the costs, which are clearly shown on the menu which you can view before deciding to take a table, or the service charge, since every restaurant in Europe charges a service charge/coperto. It didn’t seem like a “touristy” place at all to me - on the contrary, it seemed to be popular with locals, which is always a good sign. I wish I found this place earlier in my trip, though perhaps it’s a good thing, since otherwise I would be back to have a ciambella every day. I recommend it highly!

Nice, cozy place with friendly staff. Went here in the morning and served a very good panini and a strong espresso caffe!

Very cosy and down to earth place with nice waiters. I would go back. Food was great and not overpriced, not toursity. They have different counters with different kinds of food, and you can also buy some local specialties such as pasta, sauces, and other groceries. I would definitely recommend this place!

Don't write reviews unless it's absolutely mind blowing or horribly wrong and this place is something... Food is amazing and the girl behind the counter that helps with the charcoutery is very kind and service minded. Everyone else - they shouldn't work in hospitality. Coming from Dubai where hospitality standards exceed, i had no expectations for Italy but food quality, however I didn't expect harassment. Not clear who is host/hostess and who is waiter. The blond girl seemed genuine until you see her talk about you to her colleague, the black hair girl speaks no English, the man all in black(Alessandro I think) in the entrance acts as if he is doing the restaurant a favour for working there - not sure he knows where he is based on his body language, and the worst of all - Costa or something, the man in grey t shirt , again not sure what is his job- bartender, waiter or host, he welcomed me and my husband with WELCOME GENTLEMEN. After I made a joke about gender and his greeting excluding me, he laughed at me and stared at me, asking me if I'm serious as if I am offending him? I said yes, im serious, your greetng is wrong and he said he was being general and laughed at me. That was just the beginning of his attitude- this man should never work in hospitality at he is anything but service and people minded. If you visit - take away or get a sandwich to go.

The place was nice, the waitress was very kind the bad thing was the food! It was a very small portion and was cold, for the price you pay you can get better quality of food in other restaurant.

The Coffee! While the shop is a bit too modern for my taste, the coffee is outstanding, my favorite in roam. The barista is on point, and everyone that walks in knows his name. The espresso is dialed in perfectly, and it’s pulled on a spring lever machine for that smooth taste. While most espresso in Roma has a bit of an acidic attack, this espresso is straight forward, no frills, coffee flavored coffee that requires no sugar or milk but pairs well with both if you prefer.
