Menu appears great, but the food is quite ordinary , service was disappointing with very little understanding of English language.
Toilet needs some clean and repairs.

We just had the lunch special which was great value.
Waitress was charming and food and drinks arrived promptly .
Just far enough away from Trevi Fountain to not be in the tourist trap overcharging zone.
We had a great lunch 4 people for less than €45 including beers, bread, fries, coffees and mains.
BTW free wifi too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They say...When in Rome, eat Carbonara! We were so glad that we followed this advice as the carbonara at Caffe Roma was amazing! It wasn't overly creamy or salty as you'd normally find the dish to be at other places. It was just Carbonara, done the proper Italian way - simple, balanced, delicious. We absolutely enjoyed our lunch and coffees here. The place is big with plenty of seating and good dining atmosphere. The menu has English explanation under each dish and the table service was good from the staff. Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Expensive, I got a frozen tiramisu, after complaining they heated it up in a microwave, but half of it was still cold. Don't listen to the waitress trying to lure you in.
There is a gate to the toilet in the basement. It was open when I went downstairs, but when I was done the gate was closed. The waiters didn't pay attention to me when I asked them to open it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One Diavola pizza for two people, and some coffee. The place is very nice, the pizza was amazing, and the waiters are very polite. Prices are reasonable as well, would definitely come again. Good coffee too!
