★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Molto gustoso e interessante! The pizza was the best pizza by far in all Menaggio. Try the calzone con funghi. You will not regret it! Tagliatelle was good too. But if you visit this pizzeria you will try pizza ?
At the end take a taste of tiramisu and limoncello! Molto bene!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ During our vacation in Menaggio we ate two times at the Pizzeria Lugano because we really liked the food. The restaurant has not the best location but in return it is cheap. The service is friendly but unfortunately the food didn't arrive simultaneously although there we only two of us. I can't recommend the vitello tonnato but all pasta dishes and the pizza was the best pizza we ate during our vacation at the Lake Como. All in all I would recommend eating at Pizzeria Lugano.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here after seeing all the good reviews. We found the food to be okay. I got the Buffalo pizza and my wife got the seafood risotto.
The pizza was cooked perfectly but was very watery. The tomato sauce they used was on the thinner side (more of a soup than sauce texture)so the whole pizza was drenched. Lastly, not too much sauce was used so the taste of the pizza was more cheese than the actual sauce.
The risotto was good and fresh ingredients seemed to be used BUT it was REALLY oily. Never seen risotto like that. Due to the oil the texture was more mash like than risotto like. Also the risotto was on the harder side. The taste was good but if the risotto was cooked all the way and less oil was used, I'm sure that would have gotten a higher score.
As for the service, it was good and they were pretty attentive even while being busy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was an incredible dining experience for my partner and I. The food was unpretentious, bright and very refreshing. The server was very friendly to us even though we were the only two Asian patrons and was very patient with us even though she does not speak English. We ordered a pizza to share, a penne dish and some calamari rings. All splendid suggestions, would definitely recommend my friends and family to visit this place in the future if they ever come to Menaggio for vacation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant really surprised us! The pizza was very good (especially the Buffalo)! But not only that, the pasta dishes were amazing as well. We had the carbonara, which was one of my favorite dishes during our stay in Italy, and the lasagna was great as well. My husband and I ended up going two nights in a row because we enjoyed our experience so much. The service and prices were great as well (:
