★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Al cimitero, davanti alla Chiesa di S. Maria In Ca’ Deserta vi è il Parco delle Rimembranze, opera dell’architetto Pietro Portaluppi, completato nel 1923 e inaugurato il 4 novembre (data dell’ armistizio del ‘ 18). Resta la struttura e non vi è traccia di cippi: una lapide, ormai quasi illeggibile, con i caduti della Grande Guerra, è posta sul muro d’ingresso. In fondo il monumento funerario di don Enrico Trelawny, baronetto inglese convertito al cattolicesimo, successivamente divenuto sacerdote e vissuto nella casa parrocchiale di Laveno. Il monumento è stato spostato due volte per i successivi allargamenti del cimitero fino a trovare qui la posizione definitiva.
 At the cemetery, in front of the Church of Santa Maria in Ca 'Deserta there is the Memorial Park, designed by architect Peter Portaluppi, completed in 1923 and inaugurated on 4 November (date of' armistice '18). It is the structure and there is no trace of stones: a plaque, an almost illegible with the fallen of the Great War, it is placed on the entrance wall. After the funeral monument of Don Enrico Trelawny, English baronet converted to Catholicism, later became a priest and lived in the parish house of Laveno. The monument has been moved twice to successive enlargements of the cemetery until you find the final position here.
