Le statue con materiale riciclato sono ancora in buono stato. I have been cycling but it is better to walk the path and narrow and there was tall grass on both sides. Parte dalla Rocca di Sparafucile, rasenta il perimetro della Cartiera Burgo e sbuca in Piazza Porta Giulia nel quartiere di Cittadella. Proseguendo, si può attraversare la strada e riprendere il cammino sulla ciclabile che collega la città a Peschiera del Garda. Ce n'è, quindi, per tutte le gambe. Bellissima la vista della città dal primo terzo del percorso in poi. Le installazioni artistiche sono ormai un po' degradate e il piacere più grande, rimane l'immersione nella natura. Le installazioni vengono selezionate per concorso promosso ogni anno dall'associazione culturale "Mantova Creativa", con lo scopo di valorizzare la fruizione di un'area di pregio alle porte della città e in quest'area si prevede la collocazione di ulteriori opere d'arte come sculture-installazioni. Il Parco dell'Arte si trova in un'area naturalistica già attraversata da percorsi, sentieri, radure. Si raggiunge, attraverso nuovo sottopasso, dal parcheggio del campo canoa. La caratteristica delle opere è di avere carattere di scultura-installazione e una progettualità di particolare attenzione alla natura dell'ambiente che le accoglie. Sono realizzate con materiali di basso costo anche riciclati, esclusi quindi marmi pregiati, bronzi, ecc. Purtroppo alcune sono trascurate e danneggiate. Girando il parco si possono vedere alcune opere d'arte. Bella l'idea di un parco dell'arte, peccato che alcune opere siano state abbandonate un po' a sé stesse. If you pass through Mantua it is a stop that cannot be missed in your itinerary. Le opere sono però poche e non sottoposte alla dovuta manutenzione. Un po' trascurato, speriamo l'amministrazione possa valorizzare questa ulteriore attrazione della città. Nice project and nice place to walk in nature and enjoy great views over the city (there is also a very popular lookout point). However, the works are few and not subject to due maintenance. A little neglected, we hope the administration can enhance this further attraction of the city.
