Beautifully renovated art museum with good cafeteria serving organic food. Live music such as blues or jazz on some weekend evenings.

The location is nice as the temporary exhibition but I was expecting to see something permanent. The first floor with his 5 rooms was the only one opened space.

Nice little museum, some interesting artworks. But I'm embarrassed to say that the thing I enjoyed the most about it was it's cafe in the back. So nice and quite right by the main touristy road!

We paid 12 euros to enter the museum. We were led to (and escorted all the way by a guard-like lady who refused to let either of us be alone in any of the galleries) the special show. We are extremely open-minded on the whole topic, but an exhibition consisting of choice of apparent electric circuit designs, accompanied by a comprehensive show (or perhaps it was a different exhibit entirely, but our guard would not or could not explain) of wardrobes, hung on the ceiling (sic), seemed uninspiring, or perhaps beyond our powers of appreciation. One of the wardrobes did have just one door open and hanging down. Did we fail to appreciate something? When we attempted to visit the permanent collection we were aggressively (actually, very aggressively) refused and told to come back at the end of the day. There is an expression of which we have heard: "Iconic Art". It means" I con anyone I can get away with conning" In this case, sadly, the whole museum seemed to be an "Iconic Art Gallery"

Sadly, half the museum is closed β€” but they don’t tell you before you buy your ticket. The only work to see is that of their very small permanent collection. They should be upfront about this and cut the ticket price in half.

Relatively small collection of art, lacking English descriptions, some of the art seemed quite sloppily set up and maintained. And most importantly the rudest person in Sicily at the ticket point.

Weird experience followed by the custodians at all times with between 1 and 2 metres distance. I understand that you need to keep an eye on what is going on but that was one of the most uncomfortable visits to a gallery I have ever had. It ruined the experience of the artworks.
