β β β β β Palazzo Ottolenghi Γ¨ uno dei palazzi barocchi piΓΉ prestigiosi della cittΓ di Asti, situato in corso Alfieri (l'antica Contrada Maestra), nel rione Cattedrale sede anche del Museo del Risorgimento.
La facciata su Corso Alfieri, tipica Alfieriana, Γ¨ costituita da una fila di colonne che sembrano dividere il palazzo in cinque parti, quattro delle quali sono sovrastate da tre finestre ciascuna, mentre in quella centrale c'Γ¨ l'ingresso con l'antico portone sovrastato da un balcone su cui si affaccia una porta-finestra sormontata da un timpano a volute, simile a quello di Palazzo Alfieri.
All' interno, di particolare richiamo visivo sono le due grandi tele sottoposte a restauro, denominate Susanna e i vecchioni di Giovanni Busi detto il Cariani (attualmente a Palazzo Mazzetti) e La famiglia di Niobe di NicolΓ² Barabino che saranno poste di fronte nel salone dβonore, oltre alla ricollocazione murale della tappezzeria, nuova riprendendo il disegno dellβantica, e recuperando lβautentica, restaurata, in seta rossa in una parete, con il ripristino degli arredi e dei tendaggi, delle poltrone e poltroncine, dei divani originali.
Palazzo Ottolenghi is one of the most prestigious Baroque palaces in the city of Asti, located in Corso Alfieri (the ancient Contrada Maestra), in the Cathedral district, also home to the Museo del Risorgimento.

β β β β β Molto interessante il museo risorgimentale. Sono esposti vari dipinti che illustrano le battaglie durante la campagna di unificazione dell'Italia e vi sono interessanti cimeli come il fazzoletto che Garibaldi usΓ² per tamponare la ferita alla gamba e la sua divisa, pugnali e baionette utilizzate dai mille e una collezione di monete dell'epoca.
Γ anche possibile visitare il bunker antiaereo che si dirama sotto l'edificio.
Vale la pensa farci un salto e respirare un po' di storia.
The Risorgimento museum is very interesting.
