Roman, clues of inhabited settlements of the late antique period, tombs of the eighth and tenth century, the foundation wall of the facade of the early medieval church of the eighth century, remains of the first church of the eleventh century, and of the larger basilica of the twelfth century. A wall of the church of 700, the latter demolished in 1907, all the previous churches were part of the Benedictine female monastery, 1008. But probably of Lombard foundation VIII century, the monastery was suppressed by the Napoleonic government in 1802.
