★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Needed good hiking shoes for my girlfriend. She made the mistake of not packing decent walking shoes for Rome. Our first day we walked over 10 miles and she had blisters all over her feet from cheap sneakers. She found Campo Base so we took an uber there from our hotel. I wish we got the salesman's name because he was awesome! He had grayish hair in a ponytail. He spoke little English but we were able to communicate just fine. He was super helpful and we got my girlfriend hiking shoes for the rest of our stay in Rome. It saved her feet. It was a world of difference. Thanks Campo Base!
Also, the store has a good selection, is clean, and has good prices for quality products.

I had worn out a pair of running shoes and found the sneaker stores in Rome to be "lifestyle" shoe stores, it was refreshing to find a store like Campo Base Travel that knew about functional shoes. I've been hiking and climbing on four continents and have been in my fair share of climbing shops. This one had a variety of brands and fair pricing. It would be worth your time to go take a look.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My son's hiking shoes wore out while we were in Italy. We found the same brand of shoes that we bought at REI in the States at this store. Great customer service. We got a discount of 20%. The store goes on and on and on. They have a lot of sports equipment for many sports. I would highly recommend them.
