It was possible to have our lunch outside on the terrace, in one of the main streets of Norcia.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had egg with “truffles”. Except the”truffles” did not smell or taste like truffles. At another restaurant they grated the truffle before us and it certainly tasted like truffle. I do not think the difference can be attributed to it being summer truffle since I suspect the previous day was. I was very disappointed.
In addition the sauce my husband had on his pasta was lumpy and not very good . I would not recommend this restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great staff, very helpful to am English only patron. Very satisfied with the service and I have learned not to order a steak in Italy. Tried it in a regular restaurant, and now here. Not up to North American standards. Notwithstanding is come here again. The food at other tables looked good. I'd try something with truffles. Check the history of the town.

The food was very good, and even better was the owner Stefania, who reviewed each and every item in the menu, not only for translation, but she also explained in details (including drawing!). The only thing I would chane is the radio commercials we heard at some stages from the kitchen
