Awful host! The owner is very rude and definitely racist as he asks every tourists about their nation before letting in. DO NOT SUPPORT such a Restaurant even the food is good, the mood in the restaurant destroys the whole event. If you are lucky enough to be seated at the table they would bring you items you didn’t even order without explaining anything. They didn’t let us to sit in the garden even thou there where empty tables and they where not reserved (verified by the waiters) it was just cause the owner didn’t want so.

I almost avoided this place due to the bad reviews here, I am glad we didn’t it. What a nice old and traditional Ost eria. The old man in the door is not rude he is just an old school. How many Restaurants in the world the owner is waiting in the door for you? it shows you how much they care about the services. Did he ask me for my nationality? he did indeed but when I asked for the bill. He said to the waitress I know them, they are the Colombian couple (it was not racist, in fact it was lovely to know he remember it). Anyway back to business, food is absolutely delicious, the chicken in Lambrusco sauce is a Michelin star dish, so as the desserts. The waitress was very nice and the whole experience unforgettable. The prices are a joke. We paid €80 for 5 dishes each and some wine. Tell me where else could you have a dinner like this for that price? Go there the place is wonderful.

American visiting Italy. I have given a lot of 5 star reviews and now I regret being so nice in the past - this place deserves some special mention because it is THE BEST CULINARY EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. They start with ~30 minutes touring/explaining the process of making balsamic, and it's interesting and interactive. That is followed by a small but delicious tasting. Then... Oh then... The meal :). Two pasta dishes, two meats and a side of potatoes were all cooked to perfection. Two bottles of wine were included but when we quickly finished both a 3rd was given free of charge. Dessert was endless, literally - they kept bringing out dishes until till we declined. The after dinner drinks also seemed endless. And the entire service was provided by people who were friendly and informative (and whose English was waaay better then our Italian). The cost for all of this was more than fair. There were of course options to take home product at the end, which we all did because of course we did. I hope we get to make it back!!! Thank you everyone ❤️

Wonderful and informative tour through the acetaia with a tasting before we had lunch, which was just great - lots of dishes with the own balsamic vinegar! I learned lots of stuff about „real and Classic“ balsamic vinegar: from production, terms and the way the classic Balsamico is used.

Lovely people, great tours on how they make aceto balsámico (book in advance through email or phone) and a great balsámico centric meal.

I went to the Osteria with a group of friends and we had a very good time: good traditional food from Modena, nice vibe and super service from Beppe, the restaurant manager. Price is appropriate for the quality and service. You also have a chance to buy locally produced Aceto Balsamico from the nearby acetaia! Strongly recommended!

We had a lovely dinner here. Freshly cooked, and the excellent use of the home made balsamico in the various dishes just made already great menu - fantastic. The ice cream with balsamico was truly a revelation. The selection of liquors at the end of dinner added a great touch, and the service was spot on. A must go to when in the region.
