★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent Tuscany style food for very fair pricing. I had fantastic Gamberoni in a Cognac cream sauce, my wife the Chianina beef slices with caramelized onions, our daughter an excellent pizza with local salami. Yummy! All of this served by a very friendly and hospitable landlady.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great homey restaurant. Prepare to be surrounded by Italians not tourists. If you come early - before 7:45 the place will be empty - Italian families will start showing up around 8. Good food, not an extensive wine list or anything, much cheaper than a lot of other places, but really quite good homey food. I’d go back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great family-run restaurant, excellent value-for-money and friendly service, at the heart of Siena, a few steps away from major tourist attractions and hotels but in a quiet area that allows you to unwind! Pasta 'cacio e pepe' and 'alla gricia' (see photos) to die for! Lovely meat dishes too, abundant 'antipasti'. Once we discovered this little restaurant, we went back almost daily, pet dog in tow to whom staff always brought a bowl of water. It is also quite a favourite for many locals. We'll be back again and again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just amazing. Beautiful setting, super kind staff, very good wine and most of all delicious traditional Italian food. Be sure to choose restaurants in this street above the ones in the touristical city centre. Highly recommended!
