β β β β β We waited 1 hour for the food although we had a reservation. When it came, it was ridiculous to us because the portion was INCREDIBLY SMALL. Paid 32 euros for two pasta dishes and drinks, then needed go to another place to get full.
What a shame, do not recommend to anyone.

β β β β β Loveless meals, with little to no spices, small portions. I ordered the Tartare al Tartufo and it came without oil, pepper, aceto or anything. Plain. Boring. Overpriced.

β β β β β We started with a couple of pasta dishes. Okay, but nothing that blew your socks off. Then we shared a sliced steak plate and a mixed salad. The steak was incredibly flavorful - I say that, mind you, after eating a lot of steak in Tuscany, maybe the second best overall - and cooked to perfection. A bottle of Chianti rounded out a most pleasant meal.

β β β β β This restaurant was a pleasant surprise for us. We were sitting outside, so we had a lovely view of the Duomo. Moreover restaurant is located next to the Santuario di Santa Caterina da Siena so you feel like you are sitting in the middle of blessing history.
The waitre made a mistake with our order but solved it immediately. They appologised and quickly prepared the righ food. It was very nice approach from the staff. They were very kind, talked with us when they saw we are tourists. The food was absolutely delicious, we had various salad, pasta, deserts, wine. Everything was delicious.
Strongly reccommend this restaurant.

β β β β β This should be rated higher. This small tucked away osteria was a standout in Siena. The cinghiale ragu was the best cinghiale I had while traveling through Italy. The pasta was exceptionally well cooked and not overly al dente. I would happily return for any meal.

β β β β β Fantastic restaurant, one of the best meals Iβve had in Italy, and the best boar in Tuscany. The outdoor seating down the slanted hill is a very cool experience, though the indoors looked charming as well. I highly recommend the boar tagliatelle and stewed boar! Iβm seriously considering going back again tomorrow night.
