★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved this place! We had New Year's Eve dinner here. Everything was absolutely exceptional, the food wss perfect and the service had no glitch, despite being quite a busy time when it's hard to deliberately the perfect performance. I was really amazed and I'll never forget the experience. I obviously recommend this place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ate here in 2016 and were so blown away by the fresh simple flavors and friendly service that we returned the next day and ate all the same dishes. I don’t know if they’ve changed owners since then but we ate here again last week and were so disappointed that it fell so short of our expectations and memories. Firstly they seem to have renovated the restaurant - we were placed inside some kind of bistro/bar section that wasn’t there before, and was decorated rather tackily. Several years ago the interior was light and simply decorated but this was all black and red and gold and felt really out of date. We had the lamb cutlets, the tagliata di manzo, patatine, grilled vegetables and salad and everything was pretty average. Nothing was terrible (although the beef was quite tough) but absolutely nothing stood out and it seemed more like something you could get at a roadside restaurant next to a petrol station than at a nice place in Cisternino. The young waiter was friendly but the older head waiter was fairly abrupt and we didn’t want to stay for dessert. I wouldn’t recommend if you’re in Cisternino - the prices are high and the quality mediocre.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely small restaurant in the heart of Cisternino. Nice modern aesthetic.
The food was excellent. We had the mixed starter platter which was a very nice portion for even for people. Pasta and meat were delicious.
We asked for a wine recommendation and they offered us a very reasonably priced bottle red wine which was outstanding for a wine below 25€.
Come here, you won’t regret.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was pretty good, the service was terribile.. Didn't feel looked after at all. A long wait for the order, the wine came at the second course and the bread never came at all. I understand that there was a staff problem, but frankly that's not my problem...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a really nice meal here just before the lockdown in 2020 - delicious classic Puglian antipasti and very friendly service. The only thing that didn't work for us was the Thai-style "fushion" dish, which was perfectly pleasant, but felt slightly out of place with the more traditional fare... Otherwise great!
