★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 20min before they took an order. 45min after ordering we got the starter and the pasta for the kids. After 1h without the mains, we claimed our money back (you have to pay the meat in advance) without getting it. At least we didn't have to pay for the drinks...
After negociation we got some of the food as take away, 2h after we arrived at the place...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A pleasant place with good food. Some of the staff strangle with English but there are, as aways, interntaional sign language. But some staff do understand and whatever they all try to ensure you get what you want.
I would recommend to eat inside as you get the full menu, prices about the same as a good English restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible experience. I was part of a group of eight, of which there were three vegetarians. There seemed to be a number of vegetarian-friendly pasta-based dishes on the menu. We settled for a table on the terrace, only to find out that they don't serve pasta there (for no apparent reason; it made no sense to us). We thus had to choose from a meat-focused menu instead. Fortunately, they served aubergine parmigiana, which is consistently and universally known as a vegetarian dish... except that theirs wasn't. Obviously, this wasn't specified on the menu. What's more, service was sloppy, and meat eaters around the table found their meat to be tasteless and overcooked. Also, it was quite pricy. Never going back!

One client got up and walked out, another man in a group of five said he never ate so badly in his life.
I mentioned these faults to two waitresses and they more or less told me “so what” as if they are used to people complaining.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The antipasti of the house (for 2 pers) is a collection of cheese and meat and a few small stews. It is ok but do not expect a creative cuisine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very slow service , had to wait an hour before our mixed antipasti arrived and the selection was not what we expected . Although tasty, there were none of the usual ‘crowd pleasers’ so our kids had very little choice as it mainly consisted of ‘farro ‘or ‘orzo’ salad served three different ways . No cheese or cold cuts which was a surprise . The main course of meat bombette were tasty but the slow service and antipasti made it all a little frazzled . Quite expensive too as we ended up over ordering because we couldn’t work out what we were getting ( despite us speaking fluent Italian )

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can’t believe this only has 3 stars. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful lunch here! The meat and burrata was great, and the sausages are fantastic.
Simple, fresh, authentic Italian food in a lovely quiet setting.
Service was absolutely fine too.
