★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing Hostel! Central location in Catania. Super friendly staff!!!
You can put your luggage before and after check/in/out. Every day is free evening with taesty pasta. Breakfast is include a price. Room's are pleasure with balcony's ,A.C and luggage store. In the hostel is a pleasure common room,and you can buy there aqua, juice and beer.
Remember ! It is a possible be a lite noisy inside,but the hostel located at city center.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hidden rooftop bar with great view. Drinks for about 6€ (whisky basil was even too strong). At the time of visit (November 2021) opening time for non hostel guests was 5:30 PM. Bit weird that you have to make some kind of registration to enter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice hostel, with good kitchen, free breakfast and dinner. The location is excellent and there is a great rooftop terrace. The bathrooms are clean and furnished with love. The only drawback are the mattresses, unfortunately ours were totally worn out and the pillows were very hard.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Where to start when it comes to this hostel? It’s a magical place in the centre of Catania, with balconies with an amazing view! Drink on the terrace is an unique experience, but also to sleep there is comfortable - all services are clean and adapted to guests’ needs. Staff is welcoming and warm, they let you stay in common areas even after the check-out and leave your baggage until 13h. They offer free breakfast, pasta and community moments to help the guests get to know each other. Moreover, esthetically it is really beautiful and special place. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent location, unbeatable views from the rooftop terrace, and a very nice common area that include a small stage (music), a bar and of course a big kitchen. I'm deducting one star because of the bathroom situation. On the floor where I stayed we had 5 rooms (2-3 people per room) yet only _one_ bathroom/toilet. The line-up in the mornings wasn't good! Having a toilet separate for the bathroom would certainly help a lot as the whole lot then wouldn't be occupied by "people with long hair" taking a shower and drying off for 20+ minutes. :-)

It’s perfectly central, lots of space in the rooms, beautiful balconies where you can listen to street performers (both in the rooms and in the common spaces), delicious and FREE pasta dinners every single night, free breakfasts with good coffee every morning, and most of all a kind community of staff and travelers. I can’t recommend this spot enough ♥️ I will be coming back!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Full disclosure: I have not been a guest of the hostel, so i can only judge my stay in the hostel cafe and the rooftop bar, which you can also access, when you’re not a guest. Both places are amazing. The view from the rooftop is priceless and my 2 stays in the cafe were so welcoming and charming that it’s easily my favorite place in Catania.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice hostel in a very central location, with super friendly staff. The breakfast is small but I appreciated getting fresh fruits, and the free pasta at night was a great surprise - plus a good way to meet more guests. My room had a great view toward the Etna, which isn't guaranteed. However, their roof terrace is always accessible and has that great view, so don't miss out!
The bathrooms were decent, as were the rooms. Because the furniture (beds and lockers) is all metal, people moving around & getting their stuff can be pretty noisy. Overall, it was a great stay at Ostello degli Elefanti!
