★ ★ ★ ★ ★ DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY
The vehicle hire was fully paid for prior to the hire.
The manager had signed 8areas that were damaged pre existing to the vehicle and this was also gone through on return with nothing new.
The vehicle was in a dirty state when we got it.
This is fraudulent on behalf of the the car company and you would like to obtain a reimbursement of the amount.
We had a bill for damages 2months after returning to the UK for 200euros
THEY ARE A FRAUDULENT COMPANY

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After waiting in line for one hour, even though there were only two people in front of us, there was a problem with our credit card. There was no possibility of using an other card or changing the name on the booking. We had to call the service number to change the booking but they were most unhelpful. We had to go to another company and lost the money that we paid for the car as it was not possible to get a refund. The car turned out to be horribly overpriced as well. Don’t rent with this company if you don’t want to waste your time or money!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The employee tried to sell an extra insurance of 700 euros! which we we really didn''t need. Fortunately, the intermediary in advance very clearly communicated. There was also an amount of almost 2000 euro blocked on the credit card type of deposit. Months later we received a mail that we would have had a fine and there was already money taken of the credit card. No copy of the fine or what so ever was embedded. the car was in very good condition but I recommend not to rent at this society

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One must understand that when in Italy, things move a little slower. having lived in Italy & abroad I have used Maggiore and others while traveling and have found Maggiore to be like the others for the fact they want to sell you more Insurance than you might need and there is usually a long wait, however Maggiore has always been courteous and helpful and honest. The cars are in good condition and maintained well. When renting through a 3rd party, you must read the fine print well. They ALL block your card if you don't take the insurance they offer however they do give it back. This is not a fly by night company, they rent trucks for moving, which we have used. They are a solid company but understand, they like the others function different than most, just be nice, smile and be patient and this company will take care of you bene.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything was great until I got home and realised that they double charged me for the one-way charge and upgrade. When I saw the reviews, I realised that Maggiore has a habit of doing so. I hope I am able to get the 125.78 back
