Travel back in time to 1350! One really gets a sense of how the Davanzati, bankers for the Popes at Avignon, lived then. I was surprised how religious they were, with many places to pray, with statues, built into the walls.

An amazing Palazzo of a wealthy florentine family. Well worth visiting, especially if the top floor kitchens are open. This is one of the only traditional florentine houses open to public in Florence with precious tapestries, furniture and the first private toilets in Florence which only came in to the mainstream one and a half centuries later! The wall frescos are absolutely stunning!

Beautiful renaissance palazzo in remarkable preservation. It includes numerous original artworks including della robbia and a sculpture potentially attributed to Brunelleschi. It really demonstrates how a wealthy Florentine family lived. You can see examples of defensive mechanisms and other technologies of the day. The tour is nice and personal. For 6 euros this is a steal.

Only sparsely furnished. Worth seeing if you have lots of time in Florence, but shouldn't be near to the top of your list of attractions to visit.

Excellent experience. Loved the Palace. The tour was short, but very impressive, as you get to see the palace, rooms, furniture, and some nice paintings. The rooms included a workshop for sewing. Overall, I enjoyed it, and I liked the simplicity of it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend it to others.
