★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il Museo della Pietra è ospitato dal 2004 nel Castello Medioevale di Ausonia.
A sua volta, il Castello fu costruito nell'anno mille dai principi di Capua, che lo donarono nel 1065 all'Abbazia di Montecassino.
Più volte ristrutturato, ingrandito e fortificato, nel 1842, ormai decaduto dalle sue funzioni militari, fu adibito a Cimitero e dotato di una Cappella mortuaria.
 The Museo della Pietra has been housed since 2004 in the Medieval Castle of Ausonia.
In turn, the Castle was built in the year one thousand by the princes of Capua, who donated it in 1065 to the Abbey of Montecassino.
Restructured, enlarged and fortified several times, in 1842, by now having fallen from its military functions, it was used as a cemetery and equipped with a mortuary chapel.
