M	Manuel C on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Museo con esposizione nel sotterraneo della chiesa dove si possono vedere i resti dell'antica chiesa, anch'essa costruita sopra antiche Domus Romane. Percorso molto interessante anche perché siamo stati accompagnati alla visita da una guida che ci ha esposto e spiegato tutto con molta passione. Consiglio una visita. Per 5€ ne vale veramente la pena Museum with exhibition in the basement of the church where you can see the remains of the ancient church, also built over ancient Roman Domus. Very interesting route also because we were accompanied to the visit by a guide who explained and explained everything to us with great passion. I recommend a visit. For 5 € it is really worth it

Pezzi forti la croce di Ughetto e il muro dove il Filarete disegnava un suo progetto. Meraviglioso anche il battistero. Grazie Martina We visited this place today. Really interesting. Archaeologically uncovered foundations of the flood basilica and several sacred exhibits. The reality of the museum does not correspond to the magnificent description or the price of admission.

Resta soprattutto ben conservata una parte degli affreschi dell'iconostasi duecentesca, venuti alla luce nei primi anni 2000. Anche gli arredi sacri che compongono il Tesoro della Cattedrale sono di pregevole fattura, anche se poco numerosi, e in particolare la c.d. "Croce di Ughetto", che testimonia l'unione tra i capitoli di S. Alessandro e S. Vincenzo dopo l'erezione delle mura venete. Museum opened since 2012 after an excavation campaign that has allowed to bring to light the millennial history of today's cathedral in Bergamo, formerly the medieval Basilica of San Vincenzo, formerly paleochristian, with lots of Roman domus of the first century. B.C. Above all, a part of the frescoes of the thirteenth-century iconostasis, which came to light in the early 2000s, remains well preserved. The sacred furnishings that make up the Treasury of the Cathedral are also of fine workmanship, although not very numerous, and in particular the so-called "Croce di Ughetto", which testifies to the union between the chapters of S. Alessandro and S. Vincenzo after the erection of the Venetian walls.

Very interesting museum, with many interactive rooms. The climb to the tower is also beautiful from where you can see a breathtaking view of the whole Upper and Lower Bergamo.
