Nothing in particular. Things are displayed haphazardly, without an order or a description. Outside there is a botanical garden but none of the plants are classified or described with labels. I did not like it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Museo interessante. Tanti pezzi messi alla rinfusa, poco documentati e informazioni molto generali. Visita guidata inesistente. Musealizzazione scarna, poco curata. Stanza dedicata allo "Scultore di Castel di Sangro", Nicola da Guardiagrele, per niente curata. A pensare che le sue opere sono esposte al Museo dell'Opera del Duomo.
Interesting museum. Lots of pieces thrown together, poorly documented and very general information. Non-existent guided tour. Sparse, poorly maintained museum. Room dedicated to the "Sculptor of Castel di Sangro", Nicola da Guardiagrele, not cared for at all. To think that his works are exhibited at the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Molto bello. Ospita la collezione paleontologica (con fossili della zona) ed una ricca collezione di reperti romani e sanniti, oltre ad un piccolo museo sulla seconda guerra momdiale. Da visitare. Molto bello il sito del museo, antico convento francescano.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il museo contiene collezioni interessanti, sia nella sezione riguardante la II guerra mondiale (linea Gustav), sia in quella preistorica e archeologica. Potrebbe però essere molto migliorato l’allestimento.
L’ex convento della Maddalena include anche un piccolo museo della pesca con la mosca, sicuramente molto interessante per i cultori.
The museum contains interesting collections, both in the section concerning the Second World War (Gustav line), and in the prehistoric and archaeological one. However, the set-up could be greatly improved.
The former convent of La Maddalena also includes a small fly fishing museum, certainly very interesting for lovers.
