Beautiful to visit! Inside there are works of excellent value, such as the statue of Venus and the venafro chess, among the oldest in the world, dated between the 10th and 11th centuries. Also worth seeing is the historic center of Venafro and the Pandone castle. It's worth the trip

A very polite guide showed us around the museum and explained about the eras, the works and was fantastic. Being inside the story was a unique experience.

Very well set up. Numerous Roman and Samnite finds. There is an entire wing dedicated to the great abbey of San Vincenzo al Volturno, and to the related excavations.
