Veniamo accolti da una preparatissima esperta che illustra le possibilità che offre il museo e la storia di Vetulonia, in modo accattivante e persuasivo che si rivela determinante. Le sale rivelano un grande tesoro che , vetrina dopo vetrina, coinvolge e incuriosisce sempre più: arte orafa di altissimo livello, d'oro e di bronzo di grande bellezza e manufatti rari eccezionali. Rivelano la incredibile maestria di un popolo , quello etrusco, raffinatissimo e evoluto, uno spaccato della storia dell'antica città, che riemerge dall'oblio dei secoli e risulta emozionante. Si può scaricare una App creata apposta per seguire e conoscere i reperti più significativi. Assolutamente da vedere contemporaneamente anche ad un video molto esplicativo. We are welcomed by a highly trained expert who illustrates the possibilities offered by the museum and the history of Vetulonia, in a captivating and persuasive way that is decisive. The rooms reveal a great treasure that, window after window, involves and intrigues more and more: goldsmith art of the highest level, gold and bronze of great beauty and exceptional rare artifacts. They reveal the incredible mastery of a people, the Etruscan, refined and evolved, a cross-section of the history of the ancient city, which re-emerges from the oblivion of the centuries and is exciting. You can download an App created specifically to follow and learn about the most significant finds. A must see at the same time as a very explanatory video. Great news: it's open to our precious pet dogs and cats too. Fantastic!
B	Bartlomiej Zoppi Sadowski on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un'esperienza etrusca inaspettatamente gradevole, oltre che per la curatrice disponibile e per la mostra etrusca stabile, ci ha impressionato l'allestimento della mostra temporanea, che comprendeva sublimi artefatti orafi di 2500 anni e la sala dedicata all'intreccio culturale tra Taranto e Vetulonia con teche dedicate a Poseidone, Dioniso, Ercole in un ambiente reso suggestivo da murales marini e suoni/musiche An unexpectedly pleasant Etruscan experience, as well as for the available curator and for the permanent Etruscan exhibition, we were impressed by the setting up of the temporary exhibition, which included sublime 2,500-year-old goldsmith artifacts and the room dedicated to the cultural intertwining between Taranto and Vetulonia with display cases dedicated to Poseidon, Dionysus, Hercules in an environment made suggestive by marine murals and sounds / music

In questo piccolo e curato museo i pannelli esplicativi raccontano la storia dell'antica città etrusca, ed i vari reperti sono ben esposti in teche illuminate. 5-6 sale su due piane per una visita tranquilla e piacevole. It is the ideal complement to a visit to the nearby excavations of the archaeological area of Vetulonia, which in itself tells little. In this small and well-kept museum, explanatory panels tell the story of the ancient Etruscan city, and the various finds are well displayed in illuminated display cases. 5-6 rooms on two floors for a quiet and pleasant visit.

Ottima anche l'accoglienza, la preparazione e la disponibilità del personale del museo. In Vetulonia we also visited the Museum with seven rooms arranged on two floors accessible to the disabled and blind, with pieces on display for a tactile experience. The reception, preparation and availability of the museum staff are also excellent.

Personale squisito e competente. Un'esperienza imperdibile, tanto più se associata ad una delle mostre temporanee con cui il museo crea nuovi motivi di interesse. An impeccable set-up for measure and elegance, still perfectly appreciable, for an ideal journey into the history of a fascinating and enigmatic city of Etruria: Vetulonia. Exquisite and competent staff. An unmissable experience, especially if associated with one of the temporary exhibitions with which the museum creates new reasons of interest.

T	Tibor M. Kovacs on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small museum and a small interesting town. There are various archaeological sites around town and on the way here. Nice excursion from the seaside to see pre-roman ruins. The museum has video room too.
V	Victoria Cecchini on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brilliant. One of the best small museums I've been too. Franco was super helpful with lots of information and a great sense of humour. The selection of Etruscan objects, jewellery here is wonderful and then you can walk down the hill a little and walk the excavation site and walk on the road that the Etruscans walked on centuries ago. Very peaceful place too. The town is beautiful to walk around and the drive up is fantastic too. The view from the town is stunning. Absolutely worth a visit. We enjoyed an espresso at the little cafe just opposite the museum and then an absolutely fantastic lunch with incredible view at La Terrazza deli Etruschi which is just up the hill (5mins walk) from the museum. That way you can to see and experience the town too.
