★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La visita è stata piacevolissima, l'elefante preistorico è maestoso, riempie di emozione, le veneri meritano qualche spiegazione per chi non le conosce, ma c'è un volontario molto preparato e disponibile, grazie ancora, è tutto gratuito.
The visit was very pleasant, the prehistoric elephant is majestic, full of emotion, the Venus deserve some explanation for those who do not know them, but there is a very prepared and helpful volunteer, thanks again, it's all free.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un museo composto da due percorsi museali molto interessanti seppur limitati. La prima parte è dedicata alle veneri paleolitiche con particolare attenzione alla padrona di casa: la Venere di Savignano; la seconda parte dedicata all'elefante preistorico rinvenuto a Savignano nel 1980.
Peccato che sia aperto solo nei giorni festivi.
A museum composed of two very interesting but limited museum tours. The first part is dedicated to Paleolithic venus with particular attention to the landlady: the Venus of Savignano; the second part dedicated to the prehistoric elephant found in Savignano in 1980.
Too bad it's only open on holidays.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Museo piccolo ma grazioso. Molto interessante la sezione sulla Venere di Savignano (purtroppo in copia, l'originale è a Roma) e in generale sulle statuettd delle veneri steatopigie. Peccato non ci sia una sezione dedicata ad altri ritrovamenti archeologici nei dintorni (neolitico, età del bronzo, età romana).
Small but nice museum. Very interesting is the section on the Venus of Savignano (unfortunately in copy, the original is in Rome) and in general on the statuettd of the Venus steatopygies. Too bad there isn't a section dedicated to other archaeological finds in the surroundings (Neolithic, Bronze Age, Roman Age).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Non è molto grande ma, soprattutto per i bambini, sarà una bella esperienza osservare i ritrovamenti delle ossa del mammuth e le caratteristiche degli elefanti nelle varie ere geologiche. A piano terra c'è anche la copia della famosa statuina raffigurante una divinità femminile ritrovata in zona e la relativa storia del ritrovamento.
It is not very big but, especially for children, it will be a nice experience to observe the findings of mammoth bones and the characteristics of elephants in the various geological eras. On the ground floor there is also a copy of the famous statue depicting a female divinity found in the area and the relative history of the discovery.
