★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Está de camino al Castillo Euriale desde Siracusa pero apenas está señalado. La carretera la ha cortado en dos. Básicamente son los restos de la muralla griega. La zona ha sufrido incendios y en algunas zonas la piedra ha sufrido. Por falta de presupuesto o interés, la muralla está vencida y las piedras amontonadas en el suelo. Sicilia tiene mucho patriminio pero muy mal cuidado en ocasiones.
It is on its way to Euriale Castle from Syracuse but it is barely marked. The road has cut it in two. Basically they are the remains of the Greek wall. The area has suffered fires and in some areas the stone has suffered. Due to lack of budget or interest, the wall is expired and the stones are piled on the ground. Sicily has a lot of patrimony but very poorly maintained at times.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posto bellissimo e suggestivo, dovrebbe essere tenuto meglio!! Liberato dalle erbacce, dalla spazzatura e i muri ripuliti dalle scritte!!! Qualcuno ha osato profanare queste antiche mure con scritte sciocche!
Beautiful and evocative place, it should be better kept !! Free from weeds, trash and walls cleaned up by the writing !!! Someone dared to desecrate these ancient walls with silly writing!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mura che facevano parte della fortificazione che in epoca greca cingeva tutto l'abitato. Oggi rimangono dei ruderi che danno l'esatta idea della potenza di un tempo. La vista è spettacolare.
Walls that were part of the fortification that in the Greek era encircled the whole town. Today remains of ruins that give the exact idea of the power of the past. The view is spectacular.

The place is very nice but not too accessible there are thorns and brambles so you need to have boots and long pants.
