★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Raggiunto il 15 Gennaio 2018, dalla stradina che porta alla "Casa del Fanciullo", posta nei pressi del parcheggio della "Grotta della neve" ( conosciuta anche come "Grotta dei ladroni") sulla strada "Mareneve" situata a quota 1.504 m slm.
Dopo aver incrociato "Trofa du Camperi" ci si porta sulla destra per imboccare il sentiero che porta ai piedi di Monte Rinatu.
Non è una salita per tutti. Si deve avere, comunque, una minima esperianza di salita dei crateri avventizi dell'Etna.
Il percorso, di solo andata, è poco più di 3 Km.
Il bordo di arrivo alla sommità del cratere ha una quota di 1.594 m slm. Ma il bordo - percorribile - in direzione Sud-Ovest tende ad elevarsi e raggiunge quota 1.647 m slm (dati Garmin Vivosmart HR+)
La circonferenza del bordo ha aprossimativamente la lunghezza di 1 Km.
La vista che si gode dalla sommità è di impareggiabile bellezza.
Reached on January 15, 2018, from the road that leads to the "Casa del Fanciullo", located near the parking lot of the "Grotta della neve" (also known as "Grotta dei ladroni") on the "Mareneve" road located at an altitude of 1,504 m asl.
After crossing "Trofa du Camperi", turn right to take the path that leads to the foot of Monte Rinatu.
It is not a climb for everyone. However, there must be a minimal experience of climbing the adventitious craters of Etna.
The one-way route is just over 3 km.
The edge of arrival at the top of the crater has an altitude of 1,594 m asl. But the edge - practicable - towards the South-West tends to rise and reaches an altitude of 1,647 m asl (Garmin Vivosmart HR + data)
The circumference of the border is approximately 1 km long.
The view from the top is of incomparable beauty.
