★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interessante Chiesa edificata nel 1610, dove nel XIII secolo esisteva già il complesso di Santa Maria Maddalena, con la Casa delle Umiliate. Anche oggi accanto all'edificio sacro,si trova un Monastero di clausura, quello delle "Sacramentine" (ordine delle Adoratrici Perpetue del S.S. Sacramento), diffuse in Brianza, dove ho avuto occasione di visitarne altre due. La Chiesa è facilmente raggiungibile, trovandosi in una zona centrale, Via Italia, a pochi metri da un altro importante luogo sacro, Santa Maria in Strada. Dopo il triste periodo austriaco, la facciata fu ricostruita nel 1861 in travertino di Brenno. Nella prima cappella laterale,accanto al presbiterio, si trova l'effige di Santa Maria Maddalena, in un piccolo ovale. Altre importanti opere pittoriche si possono ammirare all'interno. Interessante anche la pavimentazione. Se si transita in centro, vale la pena di dare uno sguardo, tenendo presente che alcune parti sono in fase di restauro.
Interesting Church built in 1610, where in the 13th century the complex of Santa Maria Maddalena already existed, with the House of the Humiliated. Also today, next to the sacred building, there is a cloistered monastery, that of the "Sacramentine" (order of the Perpetual Adorers of the Holy Sacrament), spread in Brianza, where I had the opportunity to visit two others. The Church is easily accessible, being in a central area, Via Italia, a few meters from another important sacred place, Santa Maria in Strada. After the sad Austrian period, the façade was rebuilt in 1861 in Brenno travertine. In the first side chapel, next to the presbytery, is the effigy of Santa Maria Maddalena, in a small oval. Other important pictorial works can be admired inside. The flooring is also interesting. If you are passing through the center, it is worth taking a look, bearing in mind that some parts are being restored.
