★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We where lucky to arrive during a week in winter with few guests in the hut. The hut keeper cooks delicious and the bar is well equipped with beer, wine and local schnaps. Ideally situated for ski-tours or hikes to Mnt. Basodino.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Snow at the end of July. Came through snow and rain over the pass from Switzerland. Heating in the lodge? Forget it. It's an alpine hut, so no heating in the rooms is ok. But it was freezing everywhere. And we were not the only ones complaining. They were simply to cheap to turn on the stove.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing food, both for dinner and breakfast! Brand-new restrooms and clean rooms and very friendly service. It's a great starting point for a lot of hikes.
