Forse eravamo fin ttoppo felici di stare finalmente in un posto caldo protetto e sicuro che ci desse riparo, ma al di la di questo ci siamo trovati veramente bene, ottimo ristoro e camere, piccolo ed qccogliente, con una bella vista sul lago del sabbione. Oltretutto per pernottamento pranzo e colazione abbiamo pagato poco, purtroppo non ho foto da allegare ma ci tornerei molto volentieri! We have been here two years ago but I remember it as if it were yesterday ... Perhaps we were so happy to finally be in a warm and safe place that would give us shelter, but beyond that we found ourselves really well, excellent refreshment and rooms, small and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the Sabbione lake. Besides, for overnight stay lunch and breakfast we paid little, unfortunately I have no photos to attach but I would go back very willingly!

Prezzi alti: cena+colazione 30€, giustificati dalla causa per cui combatte l'organizzazione, perciò comprensibili. Purtroppo abbiamo ricevuto delle porzioni misere, fredde, e riciclate. Terribile anche la colazione. I ragazzi volontari sono molto cordiali e rallegrano l'ambiente, purtroppo i gestori non sono cordiali e a tratti sono stati maleducati. Ci dispiace aver avuto un esperienza negativa. Riproveremo in futuro. Magnificent place, strongly enlivened by the presence and management of the charity O.M.G. High prices: dinner + breakfast 30 €, justified by the cause for which the organization fights, therefore understandable. Unfortunately we received poor, cold, and recycled portions. The breakfast is also terrible. The volunteer boys are very friendly and cheer up the environment, unfortunately the managers are not friendly and at times have been rude. We are sorry we had a bad experience. We will try again in the future.

M	Marco Ferrera on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vale il viaggio e la camminata (si sale a 3000m) per il paesaggio spettacolare, l’accoglienza cordiale, la cucina, i prezzi e soprattutto l’incontro con i volontari dell’organizzazione Mato Grosso che gestiscono il rifugio: emozionano come Jacobs ! It is worth the trip and the walk (up to 3000m) for the spectacular landscape, the cordial welcome, the cuisine, the prices and above all the meeting with the volunteers of the Mato Grosso organization who manage the refuge: they excite like Jacobs!
A	A R on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Luogo incantevole, panorama mozzafiato. Si vede il lago del sabbioni e un ampio panorama. Ci vuole un po'di fatica per salire ma vale la pena. Rifugio molto bello a quasi 3000 metri di quota. È gestito da volontari del mato grosso. Cibo sano,stufa per riscaldarsi. Cordialità e gentilezza. Consigliato a chi ama la montagna ed ammirare le bellezze. Lovely place, breathtaking view. You can see the Sabbioni lake and a wide panorama. It takes a little effort to climb but it's worth it. Very beautiful refuge at almost 3000 meters of altitude. It is run by volunteers from Mato Grosso. Healthy food, stove to warm up. Friendliness and kindness. Recommended for those who love the mountains and admire the beauty.

A quasi 3000 metri, in cima alle pendici del ghiacciaio, dal rifugio si gode di una vista spettacolare sul Lago dei Sabbioni. La salita è impegnativa, ma fattibile, sempre accompagnata da un panorama mozzafiato. I gestori sono volontari che tengono al rifugio come a casa propria e devolvono tutto il ricavato alle missioni in Sud America. Ambiente accogliente, informale, interamente in legno riscaldato da una grande stufa. Cena abbondante, possibilità di fare il bis di tutto (compreso della torta!). Gestori cordialissimi e gentili. Stanze con letti a castello, ampia fornitura di coperte di lana. Camere riscaldate da una piccola stufa, che ha reso assolutamente tiepida una notte che si preannunciava gelata. Prezzo pernottamento con mezza pensione (cena+colazione) 41€. Che dire, vale la pena da ogni punto di vista. Andateci tutti a respirare aria buona. Enchanting refuge, entirely built and managed by volunteers from Operation Matogrosso. At almost 3000 meters, on top of the slopes of the glacier, from the refuge you can enjoy a spectacular view of Lake Sabbioni. The climb is challenging, but feasible, always accompanied by a breathtaking view. The managers are volunteers who take the refuge as at home and donate all the proceeds to the missions in South America. Cozy, informal environment, entirely in wood heated by a large stove. Abundant dinner, possibility to have an encore of everything (including the cake!). Very cordial and kind managers. Rooms with bunk beds, ample supply of wool blankets. Rooms heated by a small stove, which made it absolutely lukewarm a night that promised to be freezing. Price for overnight stay with half board (dinner + breakfast) 41 €. What can I say, it's worth it from every point of view. Everyone go there to breathe fresh air.
B	Brecht Slabbinck on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a lovely stay at Rifugio 3A. The accommodation is very spacious and cosy, and the rooms are tidy. The hosts are very, very friendly. Good food, drinks, an occasional capricorn passing by, and the most amazing views up there! Absolutely recommend!
