Grande vista e posto magico
Bivacco grande e completo di stoviglie, gas e coperte.
Costo 8 euro per i non soci CAI + 3 euro per l'uso del gas.
Vicino c'è un piccolo lago utile per lavare le stoviglie.
 Departure from Alpe Devero (paid parking), about 700m in altitude, the last 250 of which on a fairly difficult route.
Great view and magical place
Large bivouac complete with dishes, gas and blankets.
Cost 8 euros for non-CAI members + 3 euros for the use of gas.
Nearby there is a small lake useful for washing dishes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bivacco attrezzato, 12 letti con coperte, piccolo ma fornito di gas e luce (pannelli solari). L'acqua va raccolta nei laghetti lì nei pressi e bollita per essere bevuta. Io ci sono stato lo scorso weekend, direi che oltre metà ottobre non è più fattibile. La notte ha fatto parecchio freddo, bisogna andare con vestiti pesanti. Da lì diversi percorsi, oltre al passo che porta in Svizzera ci sono diverse vie alpinistiche per arrampicare. Da Piedemonte sono 2.30 ore di cammino con un dislivello di 800 metri circa
Equipped bivouac, 12 beds with blankets, small but equipped with gas and electricity (solar panels). The water is collected in the nearby ponds and boiled to be drunk. I was there last weekend, I would say that beyond mid-October it is no longer feasible. The night was quite cold, you have to go with warm clothes. From there different routes, in addition to the pass that leads to Switzerland there are several mountaineering routes for climbing. From Piedemonte it is a 2.30 hour walk with an altitude difference of approximately 800 meters

Be aware that it's very easy to lose with signs there, from Alpe Devero, follow the signs until you reach a small house maid of stone (it's the only one there), from there you'll have a sign indicating the path to Alpe Veglia and some other places, DON'T follow the path to Veglia, just go UP following the path behind that house, you basically can't see the path from down there but there is. It's not a dangerous path but for sure is not for everyone.
Once you found it, have fun, there is everything you may need in it and more! :)
