Appena i ragazzi che ci hanno accolto hanno visto che eravamo fradici, ci hanno subito offerto di appendere le nostre cose per farle asciugare e un paio di calze asciutte. Il cibo è delizioso, economico e abbondante. La mancia è d’obbligo Un po’ complicato il percorso per arrivarci, circa due ore dal lago dei cavalli e non accettano il bancomat quindi se vi fermate la notte bisogna avere i contanti We arrived by chance at this shelter to shelter from the rain and to eat something. Qui potrete apprezzare un panorama mozzafiato sulla vallata e sarete a circa un'ora dalla cresta da cui poi potrete vedere anche la parte Svizzera. Rifugio tenuto bene, servizi puliti e buono anche il ristoro. Noi abbiamo mangiato un tagliere tipico e per 7 euro devo dire che siamo rimasti soddisfatti. Giusto e buono rapporto qualità prezzo. Per quanto mi riguarda una gita assolutamente consigliata. Quindi lago e rifugio, fatti con calma, vi porteranno via circa 6 ore. Well kept refuge, clean services and good refreshment too. We ate a typical platter and for 7 euros I must say that we were satisfied. Fair and good value for money. As far as I'm concerned, an absolutely recommended trip. So lake and refuge, done calmly, will take you about 6 hours away.

Si mangia molto bene e abbondante... e dal rifugio partono sentieri per bellissime escursioni. Da tornarci...... Very welcoming retreat, spacious rooms and comfortable beds, Andrea and the others go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The food is very good and abundant ... and from the refuge there are paths for beautiful hikes. To go back ......

Ho mangiato bene (tra l'altro, i prodotti usati non sono per nulla banali per un rifugio servito solo con l'elicottero) e ho trovato i ragazzi davvero disponibili e ospitali. I have been attending the refuge for years, I have always felt comfortable with the previous management and I really appreciated the new one. I ate well (among other things, the products used are not at all trivial for a shelter served only by helicopter) and I found the guys really helpful and hospitable.
P	Paolo Bontempi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Che dire.. il posto è meraviglioso con un ottima vista, personale gentile, ma sul cibo sinceramente avrei da dire.. il tagliere misto salumi e formaggi, 2 fette di formaggio, 2 fette di coppa, 2 fette di pancetta, 8 euro. Vitello tonnato 10 euro, vitello molto buono ma la salsa da dimenticare.. un accorgimento sul cibo ogni tanto ci vuole. Per il resto tutto ok! What can I say .. the place is wonderful with a great view, friendly staff, but honestly I would have to say about the food .. the mixed platter of meats and cheeses, 2 slices of cheese, 2 slices of coppa, 2 slices of bacon, 8 euros. Vitello tonnato 10 euros, very good veal but the sauce to forget .. a trick on the food every now and then it takes. For the rest everything is ok!

Andrea il nuovo gestore del rifugio, con la collaborazione di ragazzi simpatici e laboriosi ci ha accolto come a casa col sorriso. Rifugio pulitissimo. Pranzo e cena: pochi piatti e ottimi (chi si aspetta di avere un menu come da Cracco, di montagna non ha capito nulla). Prezzi onestissimi anche per i non soci CAI (chi mette a confronto questo servizio del rifugio, con hotel o ristornati facilmente raggiungibili in auto, come dicevo, di montagna capisce poco: provasse prima a portar su una gerla piena da Cheggio le materie prime un paio di volte a settimana... poi vedi se dice che i prezzi sono cari). Tanto lavoro e tanto entusiasmo. Non potevamo stare meglio. Bravi Bravi. First the place. 360 degree view completely immersed in the mountains and in front of the Andolla! Honest prices even for non-CAI members (those who compare this shelter service with hotels or restaurants easily reachable by car, as I said, understand little about the mountains: first try to bring a couple of raw materials on a full pannier from Cheggio. times a week ... then see if it says the prices are expensive). G	Georg Wuitschik on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean hut in good condition, friendly people which mostly don't speak English and certainly no German. They seem to rely mostly on pre-packaged food for snacks, cakes and breakfast which is a bit strange considering how much staff they have.
