★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I visited Florence in June 2019 and had an excellent meal at Mangiapepe. We are lovers of charcuterie and this establishment did not disappoint. Great atmosphere, great people and great pricing. 5 stars for all!
But if it were possible I would add 5 more stars for the owner of this restaurant. I lost my passport card while eating here. Daniele not only found my card but tracked me down on Facebook to contact me that he had found it. I had already left Florence by then, so he then went out of his way to arrange to send it to me in the United States at his own expense.
While the food and service alone is worth the visit, this kind of kindness and generosity should be rewarded. Go visit Mangiapepe and help me thank Daniele with your business. I certainly will be the next time I'm in Florence.

They are so welcoming, love a good chat and of course, have some amazingly tasty and fresh food. Daniele also had great recommendations for things to do and other places to eat, and even went so far to help arrange some logistical things for our trip. Their hospitality was one of the highlights of Italy. Thank you
