A carattere familiare,cibo di gran qualità e tanto amore che viene trasmesso nelle stesse pietanze. Dal boss di casa alla moglie e la figlia Daniela,un accoglienza e disponibilità da vendere. Consigliatissimo!

Family-friendly, high quality food and lots of love that is transmitted in the same dishes. From the boss of the house to his wife and daughter Daniela, a welcome and availability to sell. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Consiglio: prestate meno attenzione agli impiattamenti e più alla cura del servizio e alla sostanza dei piatti. Il mio salmone in crosta di pistacchio a 18€ aveva tutte le decorazioni del mondo ma mancava di una cosa: la crosta di pistacchio! Quando l'ho fatto notare non ho ricevuto né risposte sensate, né scuse.
Tip: pay less attention to the dishes and more to the care of the service and the substance of the dishes. My pistachio crusted salmon at € 18 had all the decorations in the world but lacked one thing: the pistachio crust! When I pointed this out, I received neither sensible answers nor apologies.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Siamo capitati per caso e siamo rimasti piacevolmente colpiti in primis dalla gentilezza dei titolari nonostante fossero pe 14 passate di un lunedi, e poi dalla bontà di quello che abbiano mangiato. Il tutto accompagnato da vista mare e da un'incantevole brezza. Abbiamo mangiato una buonissima caponata con pesce spada e due primi squisiti (uno con pistacchio e l'altro con orata e limone). Prezzo adeguato. Consigliatissimo.
We happened by chance and we were pleasantly impressed first of all by the kindness of the owners despite the fact that they were for example 14 past a Monday, and then by the goodness of what they ate. All accompanied by a sea view and an enchanting breeze. We ate a very good caponata with swordfish and two delicious first courses (one with pistachio and the other with sea bream and lemon). Appropriate price. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Locale a conduzione familiare dove vi sentirete sicuramente a casa perché gestito da persone che hanno a cuore il benessere delle persone, soprattutto dei loro ospiti.
Nei pressi del parcheggio Parete, proprio all'inizio del lungomare che vi porterà alla movida di Ortigia troverete questo bistrot dove potrete assaggiare, lontani dal caos, ottime pietanze (da provare assolutamente la pistacchiosa)
I proprietari sapranno mettervi a vostro agio e consigliarvi quanto di meglio in zona.
A family-run establishment where you will surely feel at home because it is run by people who care about the well-being of people, especially their guests.
Near the Parete car park, right at the beginning of the promenade that will take you to the nightlife of Ortigia you will find this bistro where you can taste excellent dishes, far from the chaos (absolutely must try the pistachio)
The owners will be able to put you at ease and advise you on the best in the area.

We don't know for sure but they seem to be open most days or every day.

What a marvellous location!
Situated on the seafront facing the Ionian Sea and sandwiched in between the main building and the annex of Hotel Gutkowski.
Really friendly staff who do everything to ensure your visit is wonderful.
One bottle of water, one bottle of good white wine (Grillo at €14.00), one starter of Sarde Beccafico (Sardines at €8.00), two mains of Spada Arrosto (swordfish at €14.00) and Pistacchiosa (shrimps and pasta at €16.00) and two coffees cost €59.50.
The quality of the food and the helpfulness of the waitress and the cook justified the prices.
Plus they gave us a fridge magnet to remember our visit to this restaurant!
(Not hard to do as we walk past every morning in the twenty metres between the annex and the main building of Hotel Gutkowski.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Like others have said: this is a charming, family run bistro that serves really great food. I had the 6 course degustation menu (only €30!) and was delighted by every dish (though a special mention goes to the prawn tartare on burrata cream with mint and lime).
