★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We really loved our experience at Archè. We made a reservation shortly before but had a wait a few minutes for and outdoor table. At the start the staff was a bit slow and seemed unconcerned with welcoming us properly, but this quickly changed once conversation started! They were attentive, personable and professional. The food was really delicious and the wine recommended to us was very nice as well. It has a homey atmosphere and it seems like they take well-curated risks when it comes to their menu. The menu is unmistakably Siciliano, but with some experimentation. We all ordered different things (pasta, swordfish, and my risotto pictured above) and a shared starter with local foods and they were all really impressive. Hope to return next time I’m in Ortigia.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We chose to eat two types of ravioli with ricotta cheese. Initially, the plates do not look very inviting, but don’t be fooled, they are absolutely delicious! Thank you for a unique dinner!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bit pretentious. I didn't like the starter bit greasy, while the meatballs were dry and tasteless. They are nice people but this cost as much as Paranza in Catania, for instance, which served food I will remember for life, and it just wasn't all that

The two servers were arguing with each most of the dinner.
The server was inept (ok, new, but was set up for failure but his supervisor), the host / manager was incredibly rude to me and her colleague.
I was asked what I wanted to order before I even finished sitting down.
Asking for a wine recommendation was received with great annoyance.
Pushy.
Cover charge.
The Gnocchi was ok and a bit expensive.
Wine was good and well priced.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ate here four times in three days. They have a wide selection from salads to meat to seafood and many sides and appetizers as well as specials. Loved the salads, very refreshing since it’s summer and hot outside! Also had arancino with seppia nera rice and latte di ricotta which was tasty as well as unique. Loved this place and the staff are very friendly. Also has wifi although I didn’t use it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would definitely recommend this restaurant! Unlike some alarming posts about unfriendly and slow waiters we had a great seafood lunch at Archè’s served by a friendly lady. And even the cook himself came to our table to inform about our well being.
