★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a chance to have a private tour of this Murano glass factory with JW Marriott. First a water taxi took us to the island. It was just my husband and I in the taxi and we really enjoyed it. Our guide at the factory was very nice and patient. We watched the masters make a vase from start to finish. Then we toured the gallery and the shop. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely varied glass objects, mostly very expensive and primarily for glass collectors. For a fee you can watch the glass makers at work. Not exactly a demonstration as they are working on real objects and there is no narration so it is hard to understand what is actually going on.
