★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Le due sculture realizzate da Pietro De Laurentiis (1920-1991) per il centro direzionale dell’ACEA, rappresentano gli elementi geometrici di una centrale elettrica fatta di trasformatori, isolatori elettrici, tralicci e linee elettriche che si dipartono dalla Città dell’industria per raggiungere l’altra Città, il luogo dove gli uomini vivono, resa suggestiva dai profili degli edifici fatti di linee, di superfici che si intersecano a formare pieni e vuoti, di strutture razionali cubiche, che ricevono l’elettricità e si illuminano. Le due entità vivono assieme e si compenetrano fornendo un unico continuo, dove la città industriale si fonde con la città civile unendo drammaticità e liricità assieme.
 The two sculptures made by Pietro De Laurentiis (1920-1991) for the ACEA directional center, representing the geometric elements of a power plant made up of transformers, electrical insulators, pylons and power lines that branch off from the industry to achieve City the other city, the place where people live, made impressive from the profiles of the buildings made of lines, surfaces that intersect to form solids and voids, of cubic rational structures, which receive electricity and light. The two entities are living together and mingle providing a single, continuous, where the industrial city blends with the City Civil combining drama and lyricism together.
