Circondato da imponenti catene montuose e con il Gran Sasso a fare da ciliegina sulla torta il piccolo laghetto offre numerosi spunti di riflessione e infinite possibilità di fare foto da qualsiasi angolazione. Fare i conti con temperature non proprio primaverili e con il vento che raramente offre una tregua ne vale sicuramente la pena. Può essere raggiunto tranquillamente in macchina (tranne in inverno, con la neve). Davvero imperdibile! In the middle of a real movie set! Campo Imperatore crowns what represents one of its most iconic views: the Pietranzoni lake. Surrounded by imposing mountain ranges and with the Gran Sasso as the icing on the cake, the small lake offers numerous food for thought and endless possibilities to take pictures from any angle. To deal with temperatures that are not exactly spring and with the wind that rarely offers a respite is certainly worth it. It can be reached safely by car (except in winter, with snow). Really unmissable!

Bellissimo col tempo bello, ma chi ama la natura lo apprezza anche con sfumature più variegate. Spectacular, breathtaking. Destination for many travelers, a pleasant place to stop and regenerate in nature. Beautiful in good weather, but those who love nature appreciate it even with more varied shades.

Sosta da non perdere e foto assolutamente da scattare. Capita anche di trovarlo con mucche e cavalli che vi si abbeverano per rendere il paesaggio ancora più suggestivo. One of the best places to enjoy the spectacle of the Campo Imperatore plain with the Gran Sasso in the background. Stop not to be missed and photos absolutely to take. La particolarità di questo laghetto è che nelle sue acque si specchia il Gran Sasso. Bellissimo. Da andare a vedere e fotografare. È facilissimo arrivarci perché si trova a circa 100 metri dalla strada che porta a Campo Imperatore. A beautiful lake located in the Piana di Campo Imperatore about 40 minutes from L'Aquila. Raccomando a tutti una fermata a questo Laghetto per fare delle belle fotografie. A place in the midst of the nature of the Gran Sasso Park, this small lake is located on the main road that leads to the celestial observatory of Gran Sasso. I recommend everyone a stop at this Pond to take some beautiful photographs.

Per gli amanti della fotografia come me consiglio di andarci perchè si formano dei bellissimi riflessi e la notte si può ammirare un bellissimo cielo stellato. Very nice, in the period of late July 2021 logically I did not find a lot of water, in fact I only saw some sheep drinking, no cows and horses. For photography lovers like me I recommend going there because beautiful reflections are formed and at night you can admire a beautiful starry sky.
