The staff was awaiting us after a reservation with fork.it (very recommended)
We were guided to the best table and the owner greeted us personally and recommended us the fresh pulpo (must try!)
The staff was very very friendly, she even took care of the dogs and served ice to chill the white wine.
We felt very comfortable and welcome, even if we stayed a little longer than the closing times.
As a local guide from Zurich - totally recommend La Grolla to visitors ore tourists passing by.
Don’t forget to reserve your table to ensure a stunning unblocked view over the Lago di Como, and enjoy the authentic Italian kitchen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was average, and not to the level of the prices. The pricing suggests they are positionning themselves as high gastronomy and yet tiramisu was liquid, bread was dry, and there were a few sauce stains on the plates.

The view is fantastic!
The wine was good.
The pizza’s and pasta were ok at best.
Cons :-
Services was bad.
Staff were miserable.
The grilled fish I had was from frozen and old, the potatoes were anaemic and would have loved some colour, and the vegetables were tasteless and forgettable.
Prices well overpriced for tourists.
Considering there are at least 3 top restaurants in Menaggio I would give this a miss!
