★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A short walk from the Ponte Vecchio, La Galleria is tucked away from the crowds but not far from it all. The food is excellent, we ate lasagna and tortellini and how flavorful it was. Their prices are great considering the quality of food provided - you won't leave hungry!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't be put off by the location. This family run restaurant serves absolutely fabulous food. We had a wonderful meal served to us by the family. The brusetta was fresh and delicious, I had the lemon chicken with salad and it was really fresh. My husband and son had the steak and it was huge! Cooked to perfection and very tender, the best steak since we arrived. The puddings were homemade and worth squeezing in. I would love to visit this fabulous restaurant again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a sweet little hole in the wall. This was close to the bridges and far enough away that most people eating among us were locals. Run by a sweet little family and you can really taste their years of hard work in the food. We ate the coccioli with Stracchino and prosciutto and they were fantastic. After a lovely dimner we ended with the cheesecake and couldnt have been happier. The food tasted just like your nonna had made it. Buonissima

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We absolutely loved dining here at this restaurant. We sat inside and saw them prepare the fresh baked desserts they offer on the menu. The grilled strips of beef was absolutely delicious and the seafood pasta was fresh and not heavy at all. We came back three times to this restaurant and it was always delightful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything was so delicious that I can’t simply recommend a single dish. The carbonara, the lasagna, the pizzas were all perfect. The ambience is great as the restaurant is hidden away in a little alley, and the staff is more than charming, friendly and fun! We loved our dinner here and will be back soon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved this place so much we went twice. Mostly for the gnocchi, homemade by the owners, the most pillowy clouds of potato I’ve ever chewed.
They are what they say “typical Florentine cuisine”. Extensive menu of simple but excellently delivered food, plus an additional hand-written menu of “specials” rotating based on what they want to make. It seemed family owned, by a sweet older couple who were lovely hosts.
