We asked a gentleman and a nice salesclerk to respond. It seems to be a generation of leather shoemakers, and I was able to get very nice brown leather boots at an affordable price!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ここの靴を買うのが今回のフィレンツェ帰省の目的の一つでした。ソールはhandstitchでGiotto家の工房で手作りしており、靴の作り込みがしっかりしていて履き心地の良い靴がリーズナブルな価格帯で見つかりますのでお薦めです。店員さん(多分息子さん)も気さくで親切なので安心して選べます。
Buying shoes here was one of the purposes of this Florence homecoming. The sole is handmade by Giotto's workshop with handstitch, and it is recommended that you can find shoes that are well built and comfortable in a reasonable price range. The clerk (probably my son) is friendly and kind so you can choose with confidence.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got a laced wingtip brogue ankle boot that I really liked a week ago only to find out when I travelled back home that the laces on the left shoe (the one I didn’t try) was short (shoe laces not boot laces). I tried to contact them on their website and sent an email and got no response. Even though I love the shoes, I can’t wear them and I’m not getting any response from them :(

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been waiting with the review for a modest 6 and a half years just to find the quality of leather shoes from Giotto Firenze is on point. I must say I am delighted, the boots are great! Over time they have gotten some patina but they stil hold up great and they have been worn well over 800 times. The materials and the workmanship are of very high quality and the attached picture (the day I've bought them vs. today) speaks for itself. Can't wait to buy some more pairs on my next visit! Thank You guys!
