★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This New Yorker had an amazing experience from beginning to end. Highly elevated and refined dining at very reasonable prices in a great atmosphere, with impeccable service. It was the PERFECT choice for our group. Very highly recommended. The octopus is off the hook! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was rather surprised to see that my friends had booked a dinner to a place next to a parking and under a busy highway, not an ideal environment for sure and not the cleanest air to eat with. Still, the restaurant had made an effort to transform this little corner to a cozy area. Unfortunately the food was not great and it was way too expensive for Roman (even Italian) standards. The staff was kind but not fast and the music was too loud for us to speak. It's a place with potential but needs a total reorganization and a new focus (either an amazing quality on food, or more affordable prices, or great environment). Now is lacking on all sectors and it's not a place I would like to visit again. Rome has so much more (and better) to offer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What can I say? When I found out where I had to meet for lunch with friends I was sort of dumbfounded! How on earth could they choose a place in such an un-forsaken area of Rome?!? Surrounded by truly horrible buildings. Instead it turned out to be a very pleasant and welcoming surprise. Outdoor seating surrounded by many tall plants that hide you away from the bleakish surroundings put you in a good mood.
But the food. A must! Very well prepared dishes, at very reasonable prices. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. However they are only open on weekends apparently because of the current COVID crisis.
GO! GO! GO!
And when you’ve finished, go for a walk to the nearby wonderful neighbourhood of Garbatella.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unexpected fantastic place - located between the railroad, the street and under a modern bridge... and yet this place is the most charming and cozy restaurant.
The food is absolutely fantastic, with super fresh ingridients, and with a little twist all the time. Like the dried fish egg's on the pasta vongole. Great attention to detail, and quite unexpected - especially for the price.
You have to try the Tiramisu... it is special and soooo delightfull!!!!

La Casetta is truly a hidden gem - innovation kitchen with really simple plates but each one unique and flavorful. Beautiful environments and the extremely attentive staff and owners make this place even more special. I seriously cannot say enough good things about this place!
